Good news for the entertainment world: U.N.A., the National Union of Authors, has officially been founded.
The first national point of reference for the most important Italian associations of authors in music, film, literature, television, and theater.
U.N.A. is an organization that aims to become the national point of reference for all authors. U.N.A. is a coordination body of the most important Italian associations of authors in music, film, literature, television, and theater, representing over 6,300 authors. It was established in the belief that through the unity of all authors, solutions to the problems of the creative sector can be found, including in dealing with institutions.
U.N.A. is not a management company.
U.N.A. is not a collecting agency.
U.N.A. is not an agency.
U.N.A. In accordance with its own Code of Ethics, it aims to be a home where authors can feel protected and represented; a home that is a constant breeding ground for ideas and proposals to safeguard the rights of the profession.
Authors must be guaranteed the same professional dignity as other categories of workers, starting with the recognition of their professional legal status.
U.N.A. will always be at the forefront of supporting authors in their work, which is the foundation of the development of art and culture in our country.
